How to remove 3D parallax effect in an iPhone or iPad running iOS 8

Apple introduced a new 3D parallax effect on iOS devices starting from iOS 7 that makes a user feel that the background is moving in three dimensions and the icons and alerts are floating over that 3D background. The feature received a mixed response from users with some people complaining of eye sores and head aches while looking at this parallax effect. Though we have thankfully not faced any such consequences even with the parallax enabled, today we will show you how to remove that parallax effect on iOS devices running iOS 8. The following screenshots have been taken on an iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 8.4 and the steps remain exactly the same for iPads as well. So here are the steps.

Go to the home screen.
