Airtel Digital TV gets its first Malayalam HD channel this Onam
~ Airtel adds two new channels to its Malayalam bouquet - Asianet HD & Flowers TV
~ Announces an introductory offer of free subscription of Asianet HD for 15 days for all its DTH customers

Kochi, August 27, 2015: Airtel Digital TV, the DTH arm of India’s largest telecommunications provider Bharti Airtel, today announced the addition of 2 new Malayalam channels to its bouquet – Asianet HD and Flowers TV. Launched in the back drop of the ongoing Onam celebrations, with this, the total number of Malayalam channels on Airtel Digital TV is now 27.

Announcing the launch, George Mathen, HUB CEO - Kerala & Tamil Nadu, Bharti Airtel said, “We always strive to offer the best of content and entertainment to our customers. In this direction, we are happy to add two new Malayalam channels to our bouquet this Onam. Asianet HD is our first HD channel in Malayalam and hence we are offering it for free for 15 days to all our HD customers”.

Flowers TV will get automatically added for free to the Malayalam language base pack. A free subscription of the Asianet HD will be available for all HD customers for 15 days post which it is available for subscription at an a la carte price of Rs. 30/- per month.
