As you can see, only the top level domain 'google.co.in' can be seen in the search field. Click Safari at the top left on the menu bar.
A menu pops down. Click Preferences.
General Safari preferences are displayed in a new window. Click Advanced, the rightmost button inside the window.
Advanced Safari preferences are displayed. You can see that the Smart Search Field - Show full website address is unchecked. Click the checkbox once to enable it.
As soon as you mark the checkbox, the Safari address field gets populated with the full website address. Close the preferences window.
The address field now shows the full website address rather than just the top level domain.
