Shenzhen, China, December 17, 2015 – Leading smartphone e-brand, honor, hosted its two-year anniversary celebration at the Universiade Sports Centre in Shenzhen from December 12 to 13, 2015. The company used the event to showcase its appreciation for its loyal and growing fan base, whose ongoing commitment to live up to the honor’s calling to “be brave” has spurred a movement that is fast taking the mobile device world by storm. The two day event included musical performances, interactive games and activities, and spectacular product showcases spread across seven brand-experience zones. Many of the brand’s business partners were also present in what was a testament to honor’s “Future with Partners” ideology.

A Bold Celebration
In line with its “be brave” calling, honor encouraged its fans and partners to express themselves and to pursue passions fearlessly through a series of sports and multimedia activities during the event. Guests were also greeted with an array of technological showcases, designed to inspire them to take on new challenges. These included magical journeys through the honor Dream Space, honor Future City, Huawei Fan Club, product experience zones. Others highlights were the Emotion UI Base Camp, the honor “New Power” Video Exhibition, and performances held in partnership with The International Festival of Extreme Sports.

Smart technologies and 2016 Goals
At honor there is a strong belief that quality products and innovative technologies are the cornerstone of the future development. For this reason, the company continuously works to expand its line of peripheral smart products, and encourage smarter lifestyles.

Honor introduced its Smart key 2.0 and EMUI 4.0 technologies, together with an enhanced version of the honor 7, gold and zero Turbo Run versions of the honor 4A, and 4G, China Telecom and Kung Fu Panda versions of the honor 5X.

Guests at the event were also reminded how honor, with the support of its partners and fans, saw remarkable results thorough 2015. These included the crowning achievement of becoming the world’s fastest-growing smartphone e-brand with a presence in over 74 countries and regions the world over. As an added bonus, honor also became the only smartphone brand to generate more than 1 billion RMB in sales on Tmall during the “November 11” sales period.

Realizing a Future with Partners
Per its “future with partners” approach, honor is actively seeking out more strategic relationships, and has accordingly been in discussions with over 21 organizations globally, including Google, Chevrolet, Baidu, and Coca-Cola, with the aim of fostering an ecosystem that ushers in superior mobile-internet experiences.

Commenting on the upcoming year, George Zhao noted: “Our goal in 2016 is to cooperate with more partners, focus on our customers and further expand in overseas markets, while also maintaining our growth momentum through new technologies and new products.  We will continue to embrace great technology and innovations to help us create products and services that bring world-class experiences to our customers.”
