LeEco will start selling its popular smartphone Le 1s in offline retail stores now
LeEco, the global internet and ecosystem company today announced that it will start selling its popular smartphone Le 1s in offline retail stores now. Initially beginning with New Delhi and Mumbai, LeEco plans to cover 70% retail stores across the country before the end of third quarter in 2016. Bollywood star Soha Ali Khan, LeEco APAC CEO Mr. Tin Mok and LeEco COO for Smart Electronics Business Mr. Atul Jain marked the occasion.
Le 1s has been received very warmly by the consumers since its launch. LeEco has sold more than 500,000 Superphones within 100 days of its inception in India. The company also introduced a host of ecosystem offerings like LeEco Drive, LeMall etc. earlier this year. It also has 555 service centers in prime locations across the country providing 24*7 services along with other value added services.
It remains to be seen how LeEco's latest foray into offline retail space pans out in the long run and whether it fuels the already burgeoning success of the company or acts as a dampener. The company meanwhile continues to sell its devices on Flipkart as well and hopefully offline entry would boost the sales even further.
