Xiaomi releases MIUI 8 China Developer ROM along with its changelog
Chinese mobile company Xiaomi has released MIUI 8 China Developer ROM along with the changelog. The supported devices include Xiaomi Mi 2/2S, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4c, Mi 4S, Mi 5, Mi Max, Mi Note, Mi Note Pro, Redmi 1, Redmi 1S, Redmi 2, Redmi 2A, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi 3, Redmi 3S, Redmi Note, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi Note Prime, Redmi Note 2, and the Redmi Note 3 (both MediaTek and Qualcomm based ones).
Customers who install MIUI 8 China Developer ROM will get MIUI 8 over OTA once the update releases. The new ROM includes more than thousand optimisations from MIUI 8. Some of these new features in MIUI 8 China Developer ROM include, but are not limited to, new design, long screenshots, special effects for video editing, new Notes templates, redesigned Task Manager, redesigned Gallery app etc.
Xiaomi has recently been facing a lot of skepticism from the media due to lack of proper after sales service. Hopefully, with time, Xiaomi will mend that too.
