LG launches dual display smartphone X Screen in India for Rs. 12990
LG Electronics India today launched its latest 4G smartphone LG X Screen in India for a price of Rs. 12990. The device would become available exclusively on Snapdeal from 20th July, 2016. Previously, all LG smartphones have been sold through offline model so this becomes the first smartphone from the brand to come through an online retailer. The phone's main feature is a panic button feature which has been made mandatory under a Government of India initiative.
However, the USP of the device is its two screens. The user can check basic information like time, date and notifications on the Always-on Display without needing to wake up the device. Other than that, the second screen allows for easy access to most used apps along with the ability to receive or control music calls without interrupting the main screen. Also, the back of the phone adorns a crystal-clear fiber material while the device itself has curved edges.

It remains to be seen whether following the online retail model would help with the sales since its the first time LG is stepping its foot into that territory.
