Asus might launch ZenWatch 3 on August 31 this year
Asus has just posted an image on its Twitter account that mentions "Incredible is coming" along with the date August 31, 2016. The IFA 2016 hash tag makes a presence too. The teaser image might suggest an unveiling of ZenWatch 3 though nothing is conclusive as of now. The previous iteration of the watch was launched around the same time last year.
IFA 2016 is being held between September 2 and September 7 and Asus might have a slew of devices to be showcased at its pre-IFA press conference.
Chinese website ePrice leaked the images as well as specifications of ZenWatch 3 and revealed the watch accessories too.
Unlike the previous generation Asus smartwatches, the new ZenWatch 3 is expected to have a circular dial and would most definitely bump up the internals of the watch to make it more powerful and battery efficient. But we hope that Asus does not mess up with the pricing of ZenWatch 3 whenever it is launched in India the way we feel they have done with that of the newly launched ZenFone 3 series of smartphones. A lot of people are mocking Asus for trying to be like Apple by launching smartphones at exorbitant prices. Hopefully, they will urgently rectify the situation with the launch of the new watch.
