Huawei launches G9 Plus with 5.5 inch display, 16 Megapixels rear camera in China for CNY 2399
Huawei has launched G9 Plus smartphone in China for CNY 2399. This is the price for 3 GB RAM / 32 GB internal memory variant. Another variant with higher specifications of 4 GB RAM / 64 GB internal memory was also announced but no other details were revealed as yet.
Huawei G9 Plus is a dual-SIM smartphone that boasts of a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a pixel density of 401 ppi. The SoC on the device is 2 GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 625. G9 Plus has 3 GB RAM and an internal memory of 32 GB as we mentioned above. There is a microSD slot for expansion of storage up to 128 GB.
The rear snapper on the smartphone is 16 Megapixels which has features like OIS, dual-tone LED flash and PDAF while the selfie camera is an 8 Megapixels shooter.
As for the dimensions of G9 Plus, it measures 151.8 x 75.7 x 7.3 mm and weighs around 160 grams. It has a 3340 mAh battery powering the device. Connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G, Bluetooth 4.1 and USB Type-C connector. G9 Plus runs on Android Marshmallow layered with Huawei's proprietary skin EUI 4.1 on top of it.
There has been no mention whatsoever about the smartphone's launch in other countries specially India. Huawei has very recently launched P9 with a dual lens Leica camera in India and the company would probably take some breathing time before launching another device in the country soon. But hopefully, we would see G9 Plus as well as other smartphones from the brand touching Indian shores some time in the future.
