Earlier Oukitel Android devices that supported fingerprint scanner like K6000 Pro used the fingerprint to unlock the phone while there are 3 new features that are coming to the fingerprint sensor on Oukitel U7 Plus.
In Oukitel U7 Plus, you can use fingerprint sensor to lock or unlock applications like settings. Even if you set a password or a pattern as a screen unlocking method in this new phone, you can still lock particular apps with your fingerprint. This helps to protect your personal information. So for example, someone in your family wishes to use your phone, then you can lock your personal apps like messaging apps with a fingerprint sensor while they can use other features of the smartphone by unlocking the phone through a password or pattern security.
As a second feature, Oukitel U7 Plus fingerprint sensor also allows you to customise more functions to be run with your fingerprint. You can tap on the sensor for taking a photo, for answering a call, for moving to next photo in an album, for pausing and starting music, or for pausing and starting video.
As a final additional feature, U7 Plus allows you to link separate fingers to open separate apps. For example, you can register the index finger of your right hand to open Facebook, and then when the phone is in sleep state, you can tap the sensor with the index finger of your right hand and that would trigger Facebook to open on the phone.
