Samsung launches first 4G enabled Tizen smartphone called Z2 in India for Rs. 4590
Samsung has launched its first 4G enabled Tizen smartphone called Z2 in India for a price of Rs. 4590. To reiterate, Samsung had earlier launched Z1 in January last year and then instead of launching Z2, the brand unveiled Z3 in between. Samsung Z2 has been tailor-made for Indian users with its Ultra Data Saving mode, S bike mode and My Money Transfer app which allows users to transfer money to their peers. The smartphone will come with a bundled invitation to Reliance Jio Preview Offer which would offer customers 90 days of unlimited data, HD voice calls and a number of apps and media content. The smartphone would be available in three striking colors of Gold, Black and Wine Red. 

Samsung Z2 is powered by a 1.5 GHz Quad core processor, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD card. The dual SIM phone has a battery capacity of 1500 mAh. As mentioned above, there is an Ultra Data Saving Mode which switches off major data consuming applications.

The device is sporting a 4" WVGA display which would provide an immersive experience for multimedia consumption. The rear camera on the device has a resolution of 5 Megapixels along with featuring an LED flash while the front camera is a VGA one. Z2 is carrying Tizen OS at its heart which has an easy and intuitive interface. The device has an app called My Money Transfer which enables customers to manage financial transactions and generate bank statements. This apps works without Internet through an MMID given to each user. Popular public and private banks allow these transactions to be completed over IMPS.

Pricing and Availability
Samsung Z2 costs Rs. 4590 and would be available online exclusively through Paytm and across mobile retail stores in offline channel from August 29, 2016.
