Asus wants a lot of stage time at IFA 2016 as it launches ZenPad 3S 10 tablet
Asus has launched a new tablet called ZenPad 3S 10 at IFA 2016 in Berlin, Germany. The highlight feature of the tablet is its strikingly low thickness of 5.8 mm at its thinnest point. The price of ZenPad 3S 10 is 379 Euros (approximately Rs. 28300). However, no information about availability has been revealed as yet.

Asus ZenPad 3S 10 sports a 9.7 inch QXGA display with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 78% making it leave a minimal footprint in terms of dimensions. The display has inbuilt Tru2Life technology. The processor powering the tablet is Hexa core Mediatek MT8176 SoC. There is 4 GB onboard RAM while the internal memory can be 32 GB or 64 GB depending on the variant that a consumer wants. The storage is expandable up to 128 GB through the use of a microSD card.

The tablet houses a fingerprint sensor on the home button in front which makes it the first tablet from Asus to do so. An optional Asus Z Stylus can be used with the tablet as well. The battery capacity available on Asus ZenPad 3S 10 is 5900 mAh which is claimed to run for 10 hours. It also has Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology thereby allowing the tablet to be recharged completely in around 3 hours. The audio solution on the tablet offers five-magnet speakers which is capable of engaging 7.1 surround sound quite comfortably.

Asus has been creating good tablets for a fair amount of time and the company by now has enough expertise to develop these devices. Moreover, they do price their tablets reasonably well. However, the tablet market is again led by Apple's iPad and even though a lot of manufacturers have tried to do a one-up on Apple, the world's largest tech company still holds a lead over all other brands. It has become quite imperative to compare each and every gadget that is launched across the globe to an Apple product, probably due to the sort of brand value that Apple has been able to create for itself and due to the high benchmarks the company has set forth.
