MacBook Pro 2016 with Touch Bar might be having a battery problem
Some users of MacBook Pro 2016 with Touch Bar have reported battery life issues on their systems. According to these users, the new MacBook laptops are running well short of their claimed battery times. In some cases, the battery is ending up dying after minuscule web surfing of 3 hours which evidently should be closer to 10 hours and above. Owners have resorted to publishing these battery problems online specially on Apple's support page which is now filled with such reports. However, this is not a safety concern.
Apple very recently had accepted to replace batteries on some iPhone 6S models sold within a particular time frame and if this new MacBook Pro issue runs out of hand, they might need to replace these laptop batteries as well. As of now, there has been no official confirmation from the tech giant and it remains to be seen what is causing these issues. Whatever said and done, 2016 has not been a great year for batteries, we saw some exploding, some shutting down inadvertently and now some not running their stipulated run times. Hopefully, things will start sorting themselves once the new year begins and we would see tech brands focusing their energies more towards resolving battery problems for the millions of people that end up buying their products.
