Honda is going to unveil its most affordable two-wheeler in India on Tuesday, 20th June
Honda two-wheelers is launching a new utility motorcycle in India on Tuesday, June 20th. It would be the Japanese company's most inexpensive model in India. The affordable costing of the motorcycle would indeed be the decisive factor driving sales considering the budget conscious market of the country.
To keep the pricing in check, the motorcycle will feature a plain vanilla design along with an analog instrument cluster, drum brakes and spoke wheels at both the front as well as at the back. The entry level motorcycle will reportedly sport a Honda developed 110cc engine. The maximum power output of the engine would be 8 bhp with a peak torque maxing out at around 9 Nm along with a 4-speed gearbox.
Honda had showcased a few concepts at Auto Expo 2016 based on its affordable Navi model. The new bike launching tomorrow could pick up one of these concepts though these are just rumors and the bike might eventually not follow the Navi concept.
The company is holding the launch event in Chokhi Dhani, Jaipur tomorrow and the pricing as well as the features and specifications would finally be revealed then. But in all circumstances, the motorcycle should appeal to the masses considering that it would be an ultra low priced offering and could see many buyers lining up for it at that price.
