Motorola set to launch Moto C Plus in India on June 19th
Lenovo-owned company Motorola will reportedly launch Moto C Plus smartphone in India on June 19th. Media invites for the launch event have started circulating. The smartphone was launched globally last month. Motorola has been hard at work this month and another offering from the company, the Moto Z2 would also be unveiled on June 27th this year. The previously launched lower variant Moto C and Moto C Plus would carry the budget smartphone flag for the company.
Moto C Plus features a 5 inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and ~66.2% screen-to-body ratio. It sports a 1.3 GHz 64-bit Quad core MediaTek MT6737 SoC. The GPU under the hood is Mali-T720MP2. There will be two variants, one with 1 GB RAM and another with 2 GB RAM. The internal storage is pegged at 16 GB, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB through a microSD card.
For camera lovers, there is an 8 Megapixels lens on the rear and a 2 Megapixels lens on the front, both carrying an LED flash. The smartphone packs a 4000 mAh Li-polymer battery. The dual SIM phone would also have 4G LTE and would run on Android 7.0 Nougat. The connectivity options available on the device include Wi-Fi, Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, A-GPS, FM Radio and microUSB 2.0.
The Moto C Plus is expected to hit the market just below the Rs. 7500 mark. And it would be available in four colors - Metallic Cherry, Pearl White, Fine Gold, and Starry Black.
