Specifications of Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 leaked online
The specifications of upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 have been leaked by GizChina. The phone will probably be announced in July. However, there has been no confirmation from the company as yet neither about the launch date nor about the specifications and features of the phone, so we are not completely sure if these specs would turn out to be true at the time of actual launch.
Redmi Pro 2 will be the successor to the Redmi Pro. The new smartphone is expected to sport an LCD display with a Full HD resolution of 1080p. The original Redmi Pro featured an OLED display.
The device would have 3 GB RAM developed by Samsung on board and the processor that was already revealed by Xiaomi on its website would be Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. Redmi Pro 2 would be equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth along with sensors like gyroscope, magnetometer and accelerometer.
The phone is reported to feature a dual rear camera setup where one sensor would be a 12 Megapixel Sony IMX362 lens while the other would be a 5 Megapixel Samsung S5K4E8 lens. The front selfie camera would be a 16 Megapixel Samsung S5K3P8 lens.
Xiaomi had yesterday launched Mi ecosystem products like Mi Laser Projector, Ninebot Plus and Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush in China at great prices. And the technology giant keeps rolling out smartphones all round the year as well. However, Xiaomi really needs to sort out the nomenclature of its phones and find an easier solution. As the number of models are increasing by the minute, it has become rather difficult to keep track of the verticals under which Xiaomi names its smartphones.
