State owned BSNL now offering six times more data to existing postpaid users
BSNL is offering up to six times more data to postpaid customers through new plans with effect from July 1st. The company is trying to cope with pressure from aggressive pricing by Reliance Jio and the resulting offers made by other incumbent operators like Airtel and Vodafone. BSNL has come up with attractive plans for its customers using postpaid mobile services.

Here is the list of new offers:

Plan-99, Data given earlier - Nil, Data given now - 250 MB
Plan-225, Data given earlier - 200 MB, Data given now - 1 GB
Plan-325, Data given earlier - 250 MB, Data given now - 2 GB
Plan-525, Data given earlier - 500 MB, Data given now - 3 GB plus Rs. 450 talk time
Plan-725, Data given earlier - 1 GB, Data given now - 5 GB
Plan-799, Data given earlier - 3 GB, Data given now - 10 GB plus free unlimited voice calling

BSNL had already announced more data on various plans in the days that have just passed by. Two days back, it announced "BSNL Sixer" or "666" plan which gave customers unlimited voice calling as well as 2 GB data per day for a total of 60 days. And just 10 days back, the firm had unveiled "Chauka444" plan giving customers 4 GB data per day for 90 days at a total cost of Rs. 444. That eventually comes out to be less than Rs. 5 per day.

The immense pressure from cut throat pricing by Reliance Jio is driving telecom operators to introspect and thus we are seeing newer and better plans almost on a daily basis. However, this seems to be extremely good news for consumers as they now have more choices and more budget friendly plans to look at potentially.
