Xiaomi has updated its flagship laptop, the Mi Notebook Air with the new 7th generation Intel Kaby Lake processors along with a fingerprint sensor for additional security and better graphics chips. The top 13.3 inch display variant gets 7th gen Intel Core i7 processors, while the other two variants get 7th gen Intel Core i5 processors. The 12.5 inch display variant will now get 7th gen Intel Core M3 processor.
The discrete graphics card now available in Mi Notebook Air is Nvidia GeForce MX150 with 2 GB DDR5 memory which performs three times better than the previous graphics card making its way out.
The company has not provided any more refinements to its laptop that competes head on with Apple's MacBook Air. It has 8 GB DDR4 RAM with 128 GB or 256 GB SSD. Xiaomi sells its premium laptop in China at a starting price of CNY 4999 but has still not brought it to India.
