Jabra launches wireless earbuds called Elite Sport in India for Rs. 18990
GN Group's audio devices sub brand Jabra has today launched its true wireless earbuds called Elite Sport in India for a price of Rs. 18990. With the launch of this new headset, Jabra continues to encompass superior sound capabilities. Jabra Elite Sport headphones cater to needs of individuals who are focused on fitness through its features like being waterproof, having in-ear fitness coaching, long battery life, freedom of movement and the ability to stream music. The earphones would be available from 8th August 2017 at retailers like Croma and Amazon along with Jabra's authorised resellers.
The Elite Sport supports both Android and iOS and focuses on the calling experience through the earbuds. The earbuds analyse the external environment and adapt themselves to deliver sound experience with minimal noise. You end up enjoying your music and calls cordlessly through the comfort of in-ear buds.
Jabra Elite Sport delivers a wireless listening experience promising complete freedom of movement through either of the earbuds. A collection of ear gels and ear wings are available in the box along with foam tips for more comfortable hearing through passive noise cancellation and enhanced bass. At the touch of a button, you can also customise whether you wish to listen to ambient sounds or not.
Each earbud integrates two microphones for high quality voice calls. You can manage voice calls through voice commands and audio prompts in case you are not able to use your hands through the middle of a fitness session or while driving or running. The headset has a battery capacity of 4.5 hours of calls and music, which further adds to the 9 hours battery that the compact case in which the earbuds get delivered provides.
Jabra Elite Sport is a perfect training companion as it features a vast array of audio training tools. An advanced in-built personalised fitness analysis can be accessed through an integrated Jabra Sport Life app. The earbuds also offer an in-ear heart rate monitor working with 90%+ accuracy and captures VO2 Max data. The app works in tandem with the earbuds to process your fitness goals and then give you feedback on your fitness level. The enhanced data capturing features further allow you to reach your health goals with minimal effort.
The headset is also IP67 waterproof certified which can be used up to 30 minutes submerged inside up to one metre of water. The brand claims it is good enough to be used in rain however they don't recommend the earbuds to be used while swimming as chlorine can damage them. Jabra Elite Sport earbuds stand directly in competition with Apple Airpods and Samsung Gear Icon X.
